FISHING TOURNAMENT!

The NC Newspaper Production Conference is pleased to announce the return of the Fishing Tournament, being held on Friday, May 14, 2010.

Boats, tackle, bait and refreshments are provided. The only thing you have to bring is yourself and a NC Fishing License.

Registration is limited, on a first-come, first-served basis.

 Registration is $25 per person, in addition to your required conference registration.

Where – Harris Lake (maps & directions to follow)

When – May 14, 2010 

Sign-In – 6:30 AM

Launch – 7:00 AM

Prizes for most fish per boat and biggest fish.

Directions from the Sheraton Imperial Hotel:

• Take I-40 west to Hwy 751 (next exit past Southpoint).

• Take Hwy 751 South for about 12 miles, crossing Hwy 64. It will become New Hill-Olive Chapel Rd. You'll come to a stop sign after 4 or 5 miles from Hwy 64. Go straight across, and it will become New Hill Holleman Rd. Go about 4 miles (you'll cross the lake) and come to a stop sign.

• Take a right on Bartley Holleman Rd.

• The boat ramp area is 1 mile on right.

• Travel time is about 30 minutes.
